Your RoleWe're looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join Monstro's executive team and lead our technology strategy and execution from launch to scale.   • Technology Strategy:
    • Define and own Monstro's long-term technology vision, aligning it with business objectives and market opportunities.
    • Develop scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions to support Monstro's consumer app and institutional platform.
    • Hands-On Leadership:
      • Lead by example with hands-on technical contributions when needed, ensuring a deep understanding of Monstro's technology stack and architecture.
      • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Monstro's AI-driven platform, ensuring best-in-class performance and reliability.
      • AI/ML Innovation:
        • Drive the integration of advanced AI/ML technologies into Monstro's Intelligence, creating a platform that delivers actionable insights and transformative solutions for users and financial institutions.
        • Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI/ML and fintech to ensure Monstro remains at the forefront of innovation.
        • Stakeholder Engagement:
          • Represent Monstro's technology vision to bank executives, partners, and investors, building trust and credibility through expertise and experience.
          • Act as a key advisor among the executive team, contributing to high-level strategic decisions.
          • Team Building and Leadership:
            • Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
            • Define engineering standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality output.QualificationsRequired:
              • Experience:
                • 15+ years of professional experience in technology, including at least:
                  • 5+ years in a C-Suite or VP-level role at modern fintech or banking technology companies (e.g., Plaid, Stripe, Wise, Adyen, SoFi, Revolut, Chime), with a strong reputation and proven success in leveraging technology for growth and transformation.
                  • 10+ years of hands-on technical experience, with expertise in system architecture, software engineering, and product development.
                  • Hands-On Expertise:
                    • Proven ability to contribute directly to architecture, system design, and product development alongside technical teams.
                    • Exceptional skills in bridging technical implementation with business strategy and goals.
                    • AI/ML Knowledge:
                      • Demonstrated experience in applying AI/ML to financial or consumer platforms, with 3+ years of professional or academic involvement in AI/ML-related initiatives.Nice to Have:
                        • Educational Background:
                          • Undergraduate or graduate degrees from top-tier institutions in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
