We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Medical Assistant at our Shore Gastroenterology Associates office in Oakhurst NJ .

The Medical Assistant Responsibilities are:

• Provides assistance to Physicians and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms,
• Obtaining and recording vitals and patient history, PIF charts, other clerical duties, EMR data entry and handling telephone calls.
• The Medical Assistant requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedures.
  
  The Medical Assistant must have the following qualifications and experience:
  
  • High School graduate or GED.
  • Certified graduate of Medical Assistant Program and or certification in E-prescribing and/or 1 to 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
