Job Description:

Major Law Firm is seeking a motivated and dedicated Worker's Compensation Attorney with 4 months to 3 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping injured workers navigate the complexities of New York's workers' compensation system, ensuring they receive the compensation and benefits they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent injured workers in workers' compensation claims

- Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations under the New York Workers' Compensation Law.

- Draft and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and correspondence.

- Prepare clients for hearings, attend hearings, and advocate on their behalf at all stages of the legal process.

- Conduct thorough case investigations, gather evidence, and work with medical professionals to build strong cases.

- Negotiate settlements and work with insurance companies to resolve disputes.

- Stay updated on changes to workers' compensation laws and regulations in New York State.

- Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring all deadlines are met.



Qualifications:

- JD from an accredited law school.

- Must be admitted to practice law in New York State.

- 4 months to 3 years of experience in workers' compensation law

- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent clients and interact with legal professionals.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
